Board Of Trustees

Survivors of Incest Anonymous, Inc. is a non-profit organization established as a 501(c)3 charity, meaning that contributions are tax deductible.SIA has a Board of Trustees responsible for the organization’s oversight and maintenance. The Board establishes policies and procedures and oversees the daily operations of the World Service Office.

To fulfill the SIA Purposes, the Board of Trustees has the following responsibilities: 
1. Coordinate policy among the SIA Fellowship in cooperation with the World Service Conference (WSC) while striving to follow the 12 Traditions of SIA and the 12 Concepts of Service SIA.
2. Provide a directory of SIA groups and provide guidance to the groups in the conduct of their activities in cooperation with WSC.  
3. Provide members with information about the guiding principles of SIA in the form of our 12 Traditions of SIA.
4. Publish literature written by and for members of the SIA fellowship in cooperation with WSC. 
5. Ensure that all literature is sound in the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of SIA and free from any legal issues.
6. Bring the SIA healing fellowship to the attention of the public in cooperation with WSC. 
7. Supply literature, information, and other assistance to people for whom regular attendance at meetings of SIA is difficult or impractical.
8. Establish and maintain national and international public relations.
9. Establish and maintain policies for the work of the World Service Office.
10. Ensure the accurate and timely recording and reporting as well as the prudent use of SIA’s financial resources. 
11. Oversee policy, planning, and reporting for the financial and legal aspects of the corporation.
