Adding A Language To The Website And Shop

1. Add a product tag for the language using the tags settings.
   1. Name = the name of the language, ex: English
   2. Slug = lowercase 2 character language iso code, ex: en
   3. Description = Just the word ‘language’  ex: language
2. Add the language to TranslatePress
   • Language = the language, ex: English from the dropdown box
   • Slug = lowercase 2 character language iso code, ex: en
   • Active = tick the box to activate
3. Add the special shop menu item for that language in the SIA Primary Menu using the menu settings.
   1. Create the custom link (ending with the language iso code).
      • The link should look like this, with the right country code at the end:  /shop/?product_tag_1=es
      • The link text needs the word Shop, a colon, a space, and the name of the language like this: Shop: French
4. Add the language to the WooCommerce product filters. (The active filter we use for the shop is #9.)
   1. In the list of PRODUCT TAGS, edit the one called Language by clicking the down arrow.
   2. Look for another box called ‘Product Tags’, add the new language.
5. Update products in the store.
   1. Tag any translated products in the shop with the appropriate language tag.
   2. Add the language tag to the each of the contributions in the store so that they are shown in the language-specific store.
6. Optionally, you can navigate to the site home page and shop main page, allowing automation to translate some text into the new language. After saving several times and reloading the page, some translated text should be shown.
