Surviving Family Trafficking - ZOOM
Saturdays - 1:30 to 3:00 pm ESTThis meeting is camera-optional. We take 3 familial trafficking related topics or read from trafficking related literature or do a combination of both.
Familial Trafficking is more common than people realize. Studies show that on average - about 60% of reported trafficking cases are perpetrated by family. Family traffickers include but are not limited to: parents, foster parents, step-parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, etc.
Family traffickers provide perpetrators sexual access to children in the family in exchange for anything of value such as, but not limited to: money, drugs, services, status, power, etc. Note- It's not necessary to be aware of what the exchange was to determine it was trafficking.
If you believe this happened to you or suspect it may have, you are welcome here. We hope you find this to be a safe place of healing and comfort. You are not alone.
