Taking Part In Meetings
Our program is peer support. We share our experience, strength, and hope from working our 12-step program of healing. We do not have any professional therapists working in our groups. SIA is not a replacement for therapy or any other professional service when needed. Although some meetings may have a specific focus, such as men only, according to our 12 Traditions, any member of SIA may attend any meeting when they need one. The WSO encourages all newcomers to try out different meetings where possible to find the best fit for their own personal recovery.
About Meeting Directory Listings
New SIA info is added weekly and meetings can change time and/or location occasionally. The World Service Office relies on the groups to inform us of any changes using the meeting update form linked above. The SIA meeting directory is confidential and should not be used as a mailing list for any reason.
