Overcoming Shame

We take topics on Shame or read from various shame related material such as, “Freedom at Last: Healing the Shame of Childhood Sexual Abuse”, by Beverly Engel (2022). This meeting is camera-optional, but we ask that cameras be on for safety reasons and to overcome the shame of ‘being seen.’ It is ok however to take breaks as needed by turning cameras off and on throughout the meeting. We ask that when cameras are on, please limit moving around and eating, if possible. We hope you find this to be a safe place of healing and comfort. You are not alone.
