Christian Focus ZOOM Workshop (Sunday 2:30-4 EST)

This meeting is camera-optional

We read from a trauma informed book: Unmasking the Monster, Shining the Light of God’s Word on Abuse (2025), by Pastor Shawn Foster (2025). While this is a Christian-based book, you don't have to be Christian to join. Everyone is welcome.

For those who struggle with the concept of God from having been spiritually abused in the past, we hope you find this a safe place to feel supported within the context of healing from the effects of sexual abuse (and spiritual abuse if that applies).

While this meeting is a Christian focus workshop, we respect everyone's spiritual beliefs per the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of SIA and ask that shares be directly tied in to issues related to incest and recovery.

We take topics on Shame or read from various shame related material such as, “Freedom at Last: Healing the Shame of Childhood Sexual Abuse”, by Beverly Engel (2022). This meeting is camera-optional, but we ask that cameras be on for safety reasons and to overcome the shame of ‘being seen.’ It is ok however to take breaks as needed by turning cameras off and on throughout the meeting. We ask that when cameras are on, please limit moving around and eating, if possible. We hope you find this to be a safe place of healing and comfort. You are not alone.

Zoom men from birth. This meeting is for men who were sexually abused as children with a focus on covert incest. Covert incest abuse occurs when the parent uses the child as a surrogate spouse. The parent’s need for companionship is met by the child. As adults, these children struggle with commitment, intimacy, and expressions of healthy sexuality.

The meeting will start with reading the 12 steps of SIA, 1 tradition, and guidelines for safe sharing. The focus will be on reading literature whether from books or articles pertaining to
healing from the effects of covert sexual abuse. There will be an open discussion about the topic followed by an open share that can be related to the reading or on issues related to healing from childhood sexual abuse.

This is a guided meditation.. Its purpose is to help calm our minds so that we can relax into a restful state to aid in getting good nights sleep. There is time for open shares on the different parts of the meditation, but this is a gentle meeting where we aren't unpacking the heavy stuff. La trata familiar es más común de lo que la gente cree. Los estudios demuestran que, por término medio, alrededor del 60% de los casos de trata denunciados son perpetrados por familiares. Los traficantes familiares son, entre otros: padres, padres de acogida, padrastros, abuelos, tíos, hermanos, etc.

Family traffickers provide perpetrators sexual access to children in the family in exchange for anything of value such as, but not limited to: money, drugs, services, status, power, etc. Note- It's not necessary to be aware of what the exchange was to determine it was trafficking.

Christian Focus ZOOM Workshop (Sunday 2:30-4 EST)

This meeting is camera-optional

We read from a trauma informed book: Unmasking the Monster, Shining the Light of God’s Word on Abuse (2025), by Pastor Shawn Foster (2025). While this is a Christian-based book, you don't have to be Christian to join. Everyone is welcome.

For those who struggle with the concept of God from having been spiritually abused in the past, we hope you find this a safe place to feel supported within the context of healing from the effects of sexual abuse (and spiritual abuse if that applies).

While this meeting is a Christian focus workshop, we respect everyone's spiritual beliefs per the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of SIA and ask that shares be directly tied in to issues related to incest and recovery.

We take topics on Shame or read from various shame related material such as, “Freedom at Last: Healing the Shame of Childhood Sexual Abuse”, by Beverly Engel (2022). This meeting is camera-optional, but we ask that cameras be on for safety reasons and to overcome the shame of ‘being seen.’ It is ok however to take breaks as needed by turning cameras off and on throughout the meeting. Zoom men from birth. This meeting is for men who were sexually abused as children with a focus on covert incest. Covert incest abuse occurs when the parent uses the child as a surrogate spouse. The parent’s need for companionship is met by the child. As adults, these children struggle with commitment, intimacy, and expressions of healthy sexuality.

The meeting will start with reading the 12 steps of SIA, 1 tradition, and guidelines for safe sharing. The focus will be on reading literature whether from books or articles pertaining to
healing from the effects of covert sexual abuse. There will be an open discussion about the topic followed by an open share that can be related to the reading or on issues related to healing from childhood sexual abuse.

Esta reunión es optativa. Tomamos 3 temas relacionados con el tráfico familiar o leer de la literatura relacionada con el tráfico o hacer una combinación de ambos.

La trata familiar es más común de lo que la gente cree. Los estudios demuestran que, por término medio, alrededor del 60% de los casos de trata denunciados son perpetrados por familiares. Los traficantes familiares son, entre otros: padres, padres de acogida, padrastros, abuelos, tíos, hermanos, etc.

Family traffickers provide perpetrators sexual access to children in the family in exchange for anything of value such as, but not limited to: money, drugs, services, status, power, etc. Note- It's not necessary to be aware of what the exchange was to determine it was trafficking.

Christian Focus ZOOM Workshop (Sunday 2:30-4 EST)

This meeting is camera-optional

We read from a trauma informed book: Unmasking the Monster, Shining the Light of God’s Word on Abuse (2025), by Pastor Shawn Foster (2025). While this is a Christian-based book, you don't have to be Christian to join. Everyone is welcome.

For those who struggle with the concept of God from having been spiritually abused in the past, we hope you find this a safe place to feel supported within the context of healing from the effects of sexual abuse (and spiritual abuse if that applies).

While this meeting is a Christian focus workshop, we respect everyone's spiritual beliefs per the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of SIA and ask that shares be directly tied in to issues related to incest and recovery.

We take topics on Shame or read from various shame related material such as, “Freedom at Last: Healing the Shame of Childhood Sexual Abuse”, by Beverly Engel (2022). This meeting is camera-optional, but we ask that cameras be on for safety reasons and to overcome the shame of ‘being seen.’ It is ok however to take breaks as needed by turning cameras off and on throughout the meeting. Zoom men from birth. This meeting is for men who were sexually abused as children with a focus on covert incest. Covert incest abuse occurs when the parent uses the child as a surrogate spouse. The parent’s need for companionship is met by the child. As adults, these children struggle with commitment, intimacy, and expressions of healthy sexuality.

The meeting will start with reading the 12 steps of SIA, 1 tradition, and guidelines for safe sharing. The focus will be on reading literature whether from books or articles pertaining to
healing from the effects of covert sexual abuse. There will be an open discussion about the topic followed by an open share that can be related to the reading or on issues related to healing from childhood sexual abuse.

Sobrevivir a la trata familiar - ZOOM

Esta reunión es optativa. Tomamos 3 temas relacionados con el tráfico familiar o leer de la literatura relacionada con el tráfico o hacer una combinación de ambos.

La trata familiar es más común de lo que la gente cree. Los estudios demuestran que, por término medio, alrededor del 60% de los casos de trata denunciados son perpetrados por familiares. Los traficantes familiares son, entre otros: padres, padres de acogida, padrastros, abuelos, tíos, hermanos, etc.

Family traffickers provide perpetrators sexual access to children in the family in exchange for anything of value such as, but not limited to: money, drugs, services, status, power, etc. Note- It's not necessary to be aware of what the exchange was to determine it was trafficking.

Christian Focus ZOOM Workshop (Sunday 2:30-4 EST)

This meeting is camera-optional

We read from a trauma informed book: Unmasking the Monster, Shining the Light of God’s Word on Abuse (2025), by Pastor Shawn Foster (2025). While this is a Christian-based book, you don't have to be Christian to join. Everyone is welcome.

For those who struggle with the concept of God from having been spiritually abused in the past, we hope you find this a safe place to feel supported within the context of healing from the effects of sexual abuse (and spiritual abuse if that applies).

While this meeting is a Christian focus workshop, we respect everyone's spiritual beliefs per the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of SIA and ask that shares be directly tied in to issues related to incest and recovery.

We take topics on Shame or read from various shame related material such as, “Freedom at Last: Healing the Shame of Childhood Sexual Abuse”, by Beverly Engel (2022). This meeting is camera-optional, but we ask that cameras be on for safety reasons and to overcome the shame of ‘being seen.’ It is ok however to take breaks as needed by turning cameras off and on throughout the meeting. We ask that when cameras are on, please limit moving around and eating, if possible. We hope you find this to be a safe place of healing and comfort. You are not alone.
